  • Applications for the next #HalaalGoodsMarket are open! Do you have a passion for artisan food and design products? The desire to produce something out of passion and perseverance? Have a unique idea, product, fashion item, design product, menu? Do you know what it’s like to do it for the LOVE of it and have turned that passion into a business? We want YOU! Please click the link in the bio to access the application form. Please remember that the closing date is strictly 17 December 2018. Important points to remember: 1. Please read the Important Information tab on the website THOROUGHLY. 2. The market is a curated market, therefore vendors are limited and all applications go through a selection process. The curation is done via an ANONYMOUS selection committee and not by Fehmz alone. 3. Successful submission of an application does not guarantee successful participation in the next HGM. 4. The #HGMfamily of vendors are there to help each other, uplift each other, support each other and those are the kind of vendors that make HGM successful. 5. All consumable products have to be halaal, if the business is not muslim owned, a certificate for halaal will be required. 6. If you’ve got that passion and drive, this is the market for you! 7. If you need an idea of the size of a stall please see images of the previous markets, a single stall is one table length only. 8.   • We’re already gearing up for 2019! Are you ready for #halaalgoodsmarket? Applications are currently closed and will open online on our website when announced on our Instagram and Facebook pages. A link will be provided to go there. The ONLY way to apply is via our online form when the application period opens. No applications will be received via email, sms, WhatsApp or phone calls. Please ensure that you have good pictures of your products to be submitted for marketing of the event and your stall at the event. Low-res, blurry images will inhibit the successful marketing of your products. NO GOOGLE IMAGES will be accepted. Please note, the market is not an islamic market but a halaal market. All consumable products have to be halaal, if the business is not muslim owned, a certificate for halaal will be required. Applications are open to vendors of all religious persuasions. There may be audio tracks played at the market hence it is not an islamic event. The market currently takes place once every three to four months, if a need arises for a more regular market it will be upgraded to this. We will be looking at doing a market in another city soon, please keep an eye on our page. Please note that vendors MAY change from market to market to encourage diversity and constant change in the market. While we endeavour to bring a variety of different experiences and offerings, we will have approximately 70% of the market offering as constant and 30% rotational. This allows for consistency and if patrons have not made it to all vendors, they have reason to return to visit their favourite or try a vendor that they had missed the previous time. No fake or replica goods will be allowed. PLEASE NOTE: WE DISCOURAGE APPLICATIONS FROM MASS IMPORTED OR MASS PRODUCED COMMERCIAL ITEMS. We would like to encourage small businesses to apply that are producers and makers. We would also like to encourage traditional halaal food from all cultural backgrounds to apply for a stall.
